About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from several vineyards in the Vallerenza area of Alto Monferrato, in the commune of Ricaldone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, selected and gently pressed. The must ferments and is kept at a low temperature to preserve its fresh fruit character. Secondary fermentation follows the Charmat method in an autoclave at approximately 15 °C.
Ageing
After bottling, the wine ages on its lees for at least six months.
Tasting profile
Fresh and refreshing, with well-balanced acidity, refined mineral notes and a subtle flinty aroma. Lees ageing gives the wine good structure and a pleasant softness.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif.
Label / history
In 2005, Vallerenza Brut won a gold medal at an international sparkling-wine competition.
