About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown around Cervignano del Friuli, in the Friuli Aquileia region.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested mechanically and pressed immediately. The must rests for one day at 5–7 °C to extract aromatic compounds from the skins, then ferments at a controlled temperature.

Ageing

The wine matures on its lees for 6–7 months in 30,000-litre stainless-steel tanks, followed by 3–6 months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Fresh, with an intense aroma and an elegant structure.

Label / history

The wine belongs to the “Selezioni” range of single-varietal wines. The Zonin family acquired Tenuta Ca' Bolani in 1970. The estate is located in Aquileia, an area associated with wine since the Roman Empire.
