Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo comes from approximately 1 hectare across three Verduno vineyards: Neirane, facing west at 330–400 m; Pisapola, facing southeast at 280–350 m; and Sotto Orti, facing west at 270–310 m. The soils are limestone and silt. Vines average around 10 years old and are Guyot-trained at 4,500 vines per hectare.

The wine matures for 6–8 months in French or Slavonian oak casks holding 2,000–4,000 litres, followed by 2 months in stainless steel and 2–3 months in bottle. Bottling takes place at the beginning of the second year after harvest.
