The organically farmed vineyards lie near Orvieto at 300 m. Soils are predominantly volcanic, sedimentary and clay-rich.

Cabernet Franc and Canaiolo.
Ageing
Refined for two months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet is intense and harmonious, combining red-fruit notes with vegetal nuances. The palate is full and balanced, with elegant fruit and delicate tannins.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 14–16°C with meat-based first courses, roasted or grilled meats, cured meats and semi-aged cheeses.
Label / history
The name Librato refers to balance, echoing the architectural and stylistic equilibrium of Orvieto Cathedral despite the contributions of many artists over more than three centuries.
