Label / history
Tenuta Borgo Conventi was founded in 1975 near Farra d'Isonzo, in Friuli’s historic Collio area. Its name refers to the many monasteries that have existed in the region since ancient times. Initially, only a few hectares of Chardonnay and Friulano were planted near the estate, producing about 10,000 bottles annually. Over the following 30 years, the estate added vineyards. Ruffino acquired Borgo Conventi in 2001, and its vineyards now cover 40 hectares across Collio and Isonzo.
