Label / history
Borgo Conventi was founded in 1975 near Farra d'Isonzo, in Friuli's historic Collio area. Its name refers to the many monasteries that have existed locally since ancient times. The estate initially planted a few hectares of Chardonnay and Friulano around its premises and produced approximately 10,000 bottles annually. Over the following 30 years, it added further vineyards. Ruffino acquired the estate in 2001. Its vineyards now cover 40 hectares across the Collio and Isonzo DOC areas.
