Label / history
Tenuta Borgo Conventi was founded in 1975 near Farra d’Isonzo, in the historic Collio area of Friuli. Its name refers to the many monasteries that have existed locally since ancient times. The estate initially planted a few hectares of Chardonnay and Friulano near the property and produced about 10,000 bottles annually. Over the following 30 years, it added further vineyards. Ruffino acquired the estate in 2001. Today, Borgo Conventi has 40 hectares of vineyards across the Collio and Isonzo DOC areas and produces both white and red wines.
