Vineyard and terroir
The Ronco della Chiesa vineyard lies just beyond the village where Borgo del Tiglio is based. It has a south-west exposure and faces the sea, separated from it by a plain extending for several dozen kilometres. The sheltered, fairly warm site receives a warm sea breeze in summer. Most of the vines are 60 years old.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in small 250-litre French oak barrels, usually previously used.
Ageing
The wine remains in the same barrels for 9–10 months.

Production is very limited.
