Questo vino

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from the hills of the historic Chianti region. The character of the hills and the warmth of the Tuscan sun are balanced by cool nights.

Grapes

Mainly Sangiovese, with Colorino and Canaiolo also included.

Vinification

The must ferments in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, which lets the aromas develop steadily.

Ageing

No oak ageing.

Tasting profile

Fresh and mineral, with soft tannins and lively acidity. Charming, easy and enjoyable to drink.

Serving and pairing

Suited to any meal and to classic Tuscan dishes, especially pasta with meat sauce and roasted meat.

Label / history

Cecchi was founded in Tuscany in 1893 by wine broker Luigi Cecchi. It remains family-run and is now led by the brothers Cesare and Andrea Cecchi. The house does not make Super Tuscan wines. Andrea Cecchi describes the family as traditional, preferring elegance and a long finish to wines weighed down by alcohol.
