Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Berici Hills (Colli Berici), a series of ancient volcanic formations between Verona and Padua. The climate is very mild and sunny, much like the Mediterranean, and grapes have been grown here for thousands of years.
Vinification

Tasting profile
A fresh, light table wine.
Label / history
Cielo e Terra was founded in 1908. The name combines terra, Italian for earth, with Cielo, the surname of the founding family. Under Pietro Cielo the company began to expand and improve its production in 1930, and new vineyards were established in 1962. The winery is now led by the fourth-generation brothers Luca and Pierpaolo Cielo. It is one of the largest producers in the Veneto and owns around 300 ha of land. Its wines rank second in terms of distribution.
Cielo e Terra belongs to Gruppo Cantine Colli Berici (The Colli Berici Group of Cellars), one of Italy's largest winemaking groups, with around 4,000 ha of vineyards. Most of the company's wines are produced there. With the group's winemakers, the estate takes part in a project to improve winegrowing and production throughout the Berici Hills, from vineyard to bottle.
