Falkenstein

The Falkenstein winery is located on the slopes of Mount Sonnenburg. Its story began in 1989, when Franz and Bernadette Pratzner decided to leave their apple orchards behind and focus on growing grapes.\n\nIn 2003, they built a stone wine cellar, where all the estate's wines are now aged.\n\nTheir daughters, Magdalena and Michaela, also help at the winery. They are completing their studies and plan to devote themselves fully to the family business in the future.

The winery is located on the slopes of Mount Sonnenburg. The vines are planted at elevations ranging from 590 to 900 meters above sea level.

Franz and Bernadette Pratzner tend the vines by hand and carefully oversee every stage of production.
