Vineyard and terroir
The Glera grapes grow in Friuli Grave, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, at an altitude of 100 m at the foot of the Dolomites. The mountains shelter the vineyard from cold northerly winds, and the soils have a high gravel content.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and gently pressed. The must is cooled, then pressed, filtered and fermented at 14–15 °C. After the first fermentation, the wine remains for two months in a sealed tank, undergoing a second fermentation until the pressure in the autoclave reaches 6 bar.
