Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the producer's own vineyards in Veneto, farmed organically. Phacelia, a green manure crop and natural fertiliser, is planted between the vines in keeping with the principles of biodynamic viticulture.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand at optimal ripeness, and only the best bunches are selected. They dry naturally in wooden crates for 5–6 months. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks for 25–35 days.
Ageing
The wine ages in oak barrels for three years.
Tasting profile
Elegant.
Label / history
Fasoli Gino was once a small farm where geese roamed freely around the property. The goose became the company's symbol and appears on the label. Its jacket and tie reflect the journey of the estate's organic production, from a simple farm product to something refined and elegant. The flower in the goose's buttonhole is phacelia.
The wine won a bronze medal at Decanter.
