Storia

1960 — Foundation

Antonio Federici founded Azienda Vinicola Federici in the town of Zagarolo, 30 km from Rome, wanting to make wines for a post-war Italy ready to enjoy good flavors and the pleasures of life again. The whole family worked together processing grapes and laying the foundations for the future estate.

2001 — Massimo takes control

Antonio's son Massimo decided to take control of the entire winemaking process. He planted the family's own vineyards and focused on producing wines that highlight quality and terroir.

Today — Fourth generation

The winery remains family-run, now in its fourth generation. Damiano Federici is continuing the family business and introducing Vini Federici wines to an international audience. The wines are sold in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Denmark, and regularly receive awards and high scores from Italian and international wine guides.
