Terroir
The estate lies in the historic village of Tavernelle, south of Montalcino, in Tuscany. The vineyards sit at 300 meters above sea level. The area's terroir is described as favorable, helping to produce wines with notable depth and richness.
Vinificazione
Sangiovese vines were first planted in 1984. The vines currently average 16 years old.
The winery released its first Brunello di Montalcino on 1 January 2002, made from the 1997 vintage.
