Storia
Foundation (2006)
Tenuta Giustini was founded in 2006 in San Giorgio Ionico, in Puglia. It set out to revive traditional local winemaking recipes, and its philosophy focused on environmentally friendly products from the start.
Expansion (2015)
Nine years after its founding, the company acquired a large production facility. This allowed it to make wines for export to 20 countries, and its number of international partners continues to grow.
Terroir
The estate is in San Giorgio Ionico, and its vineyards lie in Salento, Puglia. The sea is nearby, the soils are fertile and the climate is consistently sunny. These conditions help the local native grape varieties produce fruit.
Vinificazione
The winery selects vines whose ancestors have grown in Salento for dozens of generations. It works with local native grape varieties.
The wines are made using pneumatic pressing, cold fermentation with native yeast cultures and isobaric bottling. Since acquiring a large production facility, the winery has made wines for export.
