Stefano, however, had been passionate about winemaking since the age of 17, attending tastings and courses run by the sommelier association.\n\n### 1980\nThe brothers bought two plots of land, one of which had an old farm called La Tosa, and began growing grapes.\n\n### 1984\nStefano and Ferruccio decided to turn their hobby into a profession.\n\n### 1985\nTheir first wine, "Gutturnio," was released, with 1000 bottles produced.
