Storia
The 1960s\nClaudio Ancarani's grandfather began working the land, caring for it as its custodian.\n\n### Present\nClaudio Ancarani, a winemaker by calling, inherited his love of wine and vines from his grandfather. His connection to the land is reflected in distinctive, genuinely handmade wines: every bottle passes through his hands before leaving the winery.
Terroir
The vineyards lie on the hills of Faenza, near the fortress of Oriolo, built in 1457 and one of the oldest fortresses in Italy.
Vinificazione
The winery grows only native grape varieties, including Sangiovese, Albana, Bursôn, Centesimino, Famoso and others, using organic farming methods. Sulfite use is kept to a minimum, and only copper and sulfur are used for vineyard treatments.
Wines are genuinely handmade, reflecting Claudio Ancarani's personal connection to the land. Every bottle passes through his hands before leaving the winery, and sulfite use is kept to a minimum.
