Vineyard and terroir
The Friulano grapes grow on marl soils over a layer of sandstone. Harvest takes place in the second week of September.
Vinification
Thirty percent of the harvest undergoes cryomaceration for two days. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a constant 18–20 °C. Half of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is racked only once before being blended back with the rest, a process intended to bring out the terroir’s distinctive aromas.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for 10 months.
Tasting profile
The flavour and aroma are balanced.
