Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in La Morra, Serralunga d'Alba and Castiglione Falletto, where the climate suits Nebbiolo.
Vinification
Grapes from the different sites are fermented with skin contact to preserve their natural fruit character. Malolactic fermentation follows, giving greater depth and softer acidity.
Ageing
The wine spends several months in vats, then 2 years in oak barrels, and about a further year in bottle. This brings out the soft texture, generous aroma and deep colour.
