Vinification
Traditional winemaking: the must is fermented and macerated, then undergoes spontaneous malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Ageing
36 months in French oak barrels, followed by 2 years of bottle ageing in the cellar before release.
Tasting profile
Classic dry red in a traditional Barolo style, with a smooth palate and a pronounced bouquet. The aroma is expressive, with maritime notes. The tannins are rounder than usual for Barolo. The taste is elegant and the structure mature.
