Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The wine draws on a selection of the estate’s best nearby valley-floor vineyards and steep slopes. Calcareous gravel from moraine sediments characterizes the hills, while sandy alluvial soils occur on the valley floor. The sites combine favorable climatic conditions with deliberately low yields.
Grapes
Pinot Grigio. Alto Adige DOC.
Vinification
After arrival, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is clarified by natural sedimentation. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks with selected pure yeast strains at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures on its lees for several months.
