Storia
SalvaTerra is one of the younger wine producers in Valpolicella. The Furia brothers founded the winery in the 1990s, inspired by a love of wine passed down by their grandfather, who was a grape grower. Their passion brought together like-minded entrepreneurs and the oenologist Beppe Caviola, who was named Winemaker of the Year by Gambero Rosso in 2002.
Over the years SalvaTerra has become the region's most important producer of two classic wines, Amarone and Valpolicella Ripasso. The company now includes 600 ha of vineyards and eight wineries.
