Vineyard and terroir

This Barbera is tied to the hills of Asti and Alessandria, long-established areas for the variety. The technical sheet gives the province of Asti as its production area.

Grapes

100% Barbera.

Vinification

The grapes are selectively harvested by hand, crushed and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Skin maceration includes daily pumping of the must over the cap.

Ageing

The wine receives a brief refinement in French oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Deep ruby red. The bouquet combines ripe red fruit, plum and cherry with spice and vanilla. Long, lingering sweet tannins extend the finish while preserving the wine’s fresh, direct character, balance and aromatic complexity.

Serving and pairing

Pair with roast or grilled red meats and blue cheese. Cellaring potential is 5 years.
