Storia
The Scrimaglio family has lived in Piedmont since the late sixteenth century. In France the surname was written Escrimeaux, meaning "fencer".
1900–1920
In 1900 Francesco Scrimaglio began making wine in Nizza Monferrato. His son Pietro joined him in 1920.
1970s
Francesco's grandsons, Mario and Franco, built a modern winery with upgraded equipment and began selling the estate's wines internationally.
Today
The company is led by Francesco's great-grandson, Pier Giorgio Scrimaglio. It holds Environmental Management System Certification under ISO 14001:2004.
Terroir
The winery is in Nizza Monferrato, in the Monferrato area of Piedmont.

Filosofia
