The wine was first released in 2005.
Silvio Nardi acquired Casale del Bosco in the mid-20th century, motivated more by personal passion than profit. The estate produced its first bottle eight years later. In 1990, his younger daughter, Emilia Nardi, succeeded him and introduced a more innovative approach, restructuring the vineyards and cellars and initiating scientific research while retaining the estate’s established winemaking traditions.
