Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Masseria Surani in Salento. Its vineyards surround an early-20th-century manor house and form part of a 55-hectare vineyard holding managed according to organic-viticulture principles. The vines are Guyot-trained on limestone-based soils rich in iron.

100% Primitivo.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 12–15 days. Pumping over is performed three times a day.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in oak casks.

Alcohol: 13.5% vol. Bottle size: 750 ml.
Tasting profile
Intense, deep ruby red. The aroma combines red fruit, black cherry and plum with delicate nuances of licorice, tobacco and amaretto. Full-bodied and ample on the palate, with elegant tannins, pleasant freshness and a lively finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–18°C. Pair with grilled, roasted or stewed meats, cured meats, first courses with savory sauces, rich soups and aged cheeses.
Label / history
Soranì takes its name from the place where Masseria Surani stands. The location is personified on the label as an elegant, passionate and mysterious woman embodying the character of the area.
