Grapes

100% Sagrantino.

Vinification

The Sagrantino is handled through white-wine vinification to create a rosé expression.

Ageing

Matured for three months in stainless steel on the fine lees, followed by three months in bottle.

Technical data

The 2022 technical sheet gives a production of 6,000 bottles, while the wine page reports 6,500.

Tasting profile

A characterful, passionate and versatile rosé interpretation of Montefalco’s emblematic red variety, presented in an unconventional and seductive style.

Serving and pairing

Suggested with chicken casserole all’arrabbiata.

Label / history

The name refers to Fabrizio De André’s song “Bocca di Rosa.” The wine was created as a rosé expression of a variety for which the estate has particular affection, summarized by the idea that love cannot be a sin.
