Vinification
The wine remains in contact with the skins for more than one month.
Ageing
Maturation lasts at least 36 months in large French-oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle.
Technical data

Tasting profile
A muscular, powerful and intensely expressive red with considerable complexity. Its imposing structure is shaped by a very fine tannic weave. The cru emphasizes Sagrantino’s natural exuberance, combining power and intensity with exceptional longevity and the capacity to improve with age.

Pair with mature cheeses.
Label / history
Conceived as an especially uncompromising expression within the estate’s range, Colle alle Macchie presents Sagrantino in its most powerful cru form.
