Vineyard and terroir

The silty clay soil supports a yield of 55 quintals per hectare. The wine page gives the exposure as south-east, while the 2022 technical sheet records east.

Grapes

100% Trebbiano Tabarrini clonal selection.

Vinification

The grapes undergo white-wine vinification.

Ageing

The wine matures for six months in stainless steel, followed by three months in bottle.

Technical data

Umbria Bianco IGT. Annual production is approximately 3,000 bottles.

Serving and pairing

An easygoing white intended for a broad range of occasions, including aperitifs, outdoor snacks and informal lunches at home. The featured dish is tagliatelle with black truffle.

Label / history

Created as a tribute to earlier generations who preserved the landscape, its fruit and its defining values, Il Padrone delle Vigne Bianco is presented as an honest, traditional and carefree everyday wine. Its cultural pairings are the film Il Marchese del Grillo and Nino Manfredi’s recording Tanto pe’ cantà.
