Vineyard and terroir
Le Volpare lies on Monte Foscarino in the historic Soave Classico area of Monteforte d’Alpone. The hills are volcanic in origin, and the vineyard’s soils have a basaltic matrix. The vines are trained using both Guyot and Pergola Veronese systems.
Grapes
100% Garganega.
Vinification
Fermentation lasts 5 days in stainless-steel vats.
Ageing
The wine matures for 6 months in stainless-steel tanks.

Alcohol: 12% vol. Bottle size: 750 ml.
Tasting profile
Pale straw yellow with brilliant green highlights. The delicate bouquet recalls acacia blossom and elderflower. Dry, harmonious and balanced on the palate, it shows white-fleshed fruit and a savory finish reminiscent of fresh almonds.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–10 °C. Particularly suitable with hors d’oeuvres, vegetable-based pasta and rice dishes, and delicately flavored fish or white-meat recipes.

The wine originates in the volcanic hills surrounding the medieval town of Soave and its castle.
