Profile
Brunello is a brilliant ruby red tending to garnet with age. The bouquet is intense, pure and refined, with sweet violet, tobacco, chocolate, wild berries and vanilla. The palate is balanced and full-bodied, with good tannins and solid structure. Traditional fermentation. Minimum 2 years in oak barrels and minimum 4 months in bottle. Alcohol 13.00-14.50%. Ageing capability 20 years and more. First production year 1972. Serving temperature 18-20°C. Pairings include red and roasted meats, noble game and aged cheese.
