About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in the Cantalupo area on morainic and alluvial soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand, with checks for ripeness. Fermentation is slow and takes place in underground cellars in the heart of the hill.
Ageing
The wine matures for three years in French oak barrels, followed by one year in bottle.
