About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo comes from a vineyard planted in 1983 and farmed according to organic principles. The vines grow on a southwest-facing slope with marl, limestone and silty-sandy soils.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand, then gently pressed and destemmed at the winery. Static fermentation takes place in oak vats with native yeasts.

Ageing

The wine ages for three years in medium-sized oak barrels, followed by further maturation in demijohns or glass-lined concrete vessels. It then rests in the cellar for another year after bottling.

Tasting profile

Initially reserved, the wine gradually opens to reveal a rich and complex range of aromas. Its character is austere and serious, combining refinement and elegance with power.
