About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 500 m above sea level in an east-facing vineyard with mineral-rich clay and limestone soils. The vines average 20 years old, with older plantings dating from 1940, 1950 and 1960.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late October and fermented in stainless-steel vats.
Ageing
The wine matures for seven months in steel tanks, followed by one to two months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Balanced, with almond and fruit notes.
