Label / history
TTT stands for “Trust The Taste”. Abele Bolla founded the winery in Veneto in 1883. Its wines won a gold medal at a competition in Bologna in 1909, and its first Amarone vintage was produced in 1950. In the late 1960s, Brown-Forman acquired a 40% stake in the winery and began distributing its wines in the United States. In 1989, the Gambero Rosso guide called Bolla a “National Oenological Institute representing Italian wine around the world.”
