About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in vineyards in Abruzzo at an altitude of 500 m, on sandy clay soils.
Grapes
Montepulciano is supplemented by a small proportion of Sangiovese.
Vinification
The must undergoes 15–18 days of skin maceration with daily pump-overs, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then filtered.
Ageing
The wine remains in stainless steel until bottling.
