About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from 3.50 ha of estate-owned Cascina Bordino parcels on the eastern side of Treiso. These steep vineyards are among the best exposed on the hillside. Sandstone soils with inclusions of grey silty marl are lean and compact. The site yields Nebbiolo suited to extended skin contact and wines distinguished by aromatic intensity, elegance and complexity.
