About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit is grown in the Friuli Grave area, whose climate is influenced by the continual exchange of air currents between the Adriatic and the Alps.

Vinification

Harvest takes place from late August to early September. Fermentation occurs in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures.

Ageing

The wine rests briefly in neutral vessels.

Label / history

The Romio range was created in 2002 as a selection of Italian wines made from selected varieties grown across the country. The 2011 vintage received a gold medal at the 2012 Concours Mondial De Bruxelles.
