About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Glera is grown in Veneto, on hills north of Treviso between the Piave River and the Prealps. The soils are cool and well drained.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September to keep the berries intact and retain their natural freshness, then processed immediately. The wine is made by the Italian Charmat method. The first fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the aromas and purity of the must. A 30-day secondary fermentation follows in sealed tanks, after which the wine is bottled immediately to retain its freshness and sparkle.
Tasting profile
Elegant and vibrant, with a generous, persistent mousse and aromas of ripe apples and pears. The palate is light and refreshing, with lively acidity and a fresh, fruity character.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif.
