Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Montepulciano in the province of Siena.

Sangiovese complemented by other traditional grape varieties.
Vinification
Fermentation and maceration take place at a controlled 24–26°C, with daily pumping over. The wine is racked before maturation.
Ageing
Maturation continues for four months after racking.
Tasting profile
A light, fragrant and approachable red with pronounced black-cherry and cherry aromas. Delicate balsamic and herbaceous nuances emerge on the finish. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with good persistence.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–18°C in medium-sized glasses. Pair with pasta dressed with red-meat or mushroom sauces, roasted meats, chicken or stewed beef.
