About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on hillsides around Lake Garda in the traditional Bardolino wine region. The estate’s agronomists monitor them throughout the growing season, thinning and pruning the vines when necessary. Environmentally friendly growing methods are used.
Grapes
The blend comprises 60% Corvina and 15% Rondinella, with Molinara, Negrara and Rossignola together making up the remaining 25%.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested between 15 September and 15 October. After gentle pressing, the must macerated on the skins for eight days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine aged for six months in stainless-steel tanks and rested for a further two months in the winery’s cellars after bottling.
