Ageing

The wine matures in steel and then in bottle.

Technical data

Alcohol is 13.5–14%, with acidity of 5.2–5.6 g/L. Annual production is approximately 10,000 bottles. Available formats are 0.375 L, 0.75 L and 1.5 L. Cellaring potential is 5–6 years.

Tasting profile

Brilliant garnet red with ruby highlights. The fresh, floral and fruit-driven bouquet combines violet and peony with redcurrant, wild strawberry and cherry, alongside spicy nuances. The palate is warm, dry, crisp and inviting, shaped by fine tannins and a pronounced mineral line.

Serving and pairing

Pair with agnolotti in meat sauce or with stewed and roasted red or white meats.
