Label / history
The range takes its name from I Castelli Romeo e Giulietta near Montorso Vicentino. In 1530, writer Luigi da Porto took refuge in a villa there, near two castles associated with the Montague and Capulet families. He wrote La Giulietta at the villa, possibly drawing inspiration from the medieval castle ruins visible from his window; the novella later inspired Shakespeare’s work.
