About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards authorized for DOC production in the Valdobbiadene region. Contarini’s own vineyards cover 12 hectares; the Alps shelter them from cold northern winds, while Adriatic breezes bring warmth. The soil contributes to the development of varied flavours and aromas. The winery also has long-term contracts with regional growers whose vineyards total 1,500 hectares.
Vinification
The wine is produced by the Charmat method, with secondary fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
