About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie around Mogoro and neighbouring villages. Their predominantly loose soils are rich in limestone and partly sandy. The Mediterranean climate brings mild winters and hot summers; soil type is the main factor shaping the different expressions of Cannonau.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in late September. Fermentation lasts 10 days at 24 °C. The wine is bottled under sterile conditions using nitrogen pressure.
Ageing
The wine rests on fine lees in barriques for approximately two months, followed by three months in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Elegant, approachable and aromatic, with a fruit-driven character.
