Vineyard and terroir
Production zone: La Morra and Monforte. Bottles produced: 15,000. Average vine age: 20-50 years. Soil: calcareous in parts, also sandy. Exposure: various, mainly south and south-east.
Vinification and ageing
Maceration on skins in temperature-controlled rotofermenters for 3-4 days; passage in used French barriques for 5 months.
Tasting profile
Colour: ruby red. Nose: delicate, with flowers and rose petals. Palate: light but not dry tannins, intense red fruit and good acidity.
