About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in the municipality of Alba, in the Langhe, a historic area of Piedmont lying 450–800 m above sea level between the Tanaro and Bormida rivers. The vines grow in fairly dense, calcareous soils. The climate is continental, with limited rainfall falling mainly in spring and autumn. The estate follows sustainable farming principles.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the early morning during the second ten days of September. Fermentation is in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 6–8 days, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for 3 months in steel tanks. After bottling it rests in the winery's cellar for several more months.

Elegant, with a rich, fruity bouquet and a pleasantly fresh taste.
