About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from a 0.35 ha vineyard in the municipality of La Morra. The historic vineyard was acquired by the Rinaldi family in 1969. Freisa occupies its lower section at approximately 200 m altitude, with a south-east exposure. Sandstone and calcareous conglomerates—associated with the name “Rocche”—create freely draining ground. The Freisa vines were planted in 2020.
Grapes
100% Freisa.
Vinification
The grapes undergo five days of maceration in stainless-steel vats. The skins are then separated to preserve the wine’s freshness, while fermentation continues for another 10 days.
Ageing
The young wine matures for six months in 1,000-litre Slavonian oak casks, supporting the integration and harmony of its tannins.
