About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The 0.40-hectare vineyard holding is situated in the municipality of Barolo. The soil is calcareous-clay, with a sandier structure in the more recently established plantings in the Cannubi subzone. The vines were planted in 2016.
Grapes
100% Nebbiolo.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place on the skins for 15–20 days in vitrified cement tanks. This approach is intended to preserve Nebbiolo’s varietal character and the freshness of grapes from the younger vines.
Ageing
Maturation is completed in medium-capacity Slavonian oak barrels, with an emphasis on retaining freshness.
